Our Design Process
Our design process takes you all the way from overall style and theme through mood board and bubble diagram to final layout, with colour scheme and recommended plant palette. It’s important to us that you are a part of the design process, so that right from the beginning you form a strong and meaningful connection with the garden that will be uniquely yours.
Style & Theme
It’s much easier to create a beautiful, cohesive garden by starting with a style of your choice. There are a number of garden styles to choose from, selecting one of these styles is a good starting point. Beyond the style a theme helps to create a story that weaves its way through the garden and helps with the selection of appropriate decor.
Bubble diagram
With a bubble diagram we play with the possible layouts of all of the elements of that you would like to have in your garden
Mood Board
A mood board collects the important components of a garden together in one place.
Final Layout
A final layout shows the arrangement of hard and soft landscaping and gives a clear sense of how you will move through the garden and make use of the space.
Plant Palette
The plant palette for your garden shows a selection of recommended plants according to your chosen colour scheme and garden style.
